engine temps
Water 190
Oil 195-200
Tranny 150-155
This is under light freeway speed (70-80mph) loads. Should I be concerned with any of these? What are the best temps to run for engine longevity?
TIA

Those all look perfect. Do you have an EGT gauge? That would be where you see longevity or durability problems. You don't want to run upwards of 1150 degrees or higher for EXTENDED periods. Short bursts won't hurt as heat won't have time to soak in. On the highway running 75-80 I usually see 800-850 degrees EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature). On the drag strip, I see it peak between 1900-2100 degrees. I'm pretty well modified so you'll never see that temp unless you play. However, I don't worry as it only hits those temps for a matter of 20-30 secs before it's cooled back down.
thanks again.
