Wierd Noise
Took my truck by the dealer today. With boast around 20 lbs it makes a whooooo sound both on throttle and for while off. The sound comes and goes under load.
Diesel mechanic rode with me and said it was a leak in the EGR cooler gasket. He had seen it before. He said they had pull the top half of the engine off including the intake and turbo to get to it.
All day job. The noise is very annoying. Do his comments make sense??
