I want to remove the fibre glass roof on my 95 Bronco and put in a panel to seperate the cab from the bed.
Does anyone know of any panels that are available for the Bronco to do this conversion? I am looking for a panel that incorporates the roof scews for easy assembly so if I ever wanted to sell my Bronco (VERY Unlikely) I could revert back to a standard Bronco
Any help would be appreciated.
Why not just get an F150? What is the point of doing that to a Bronco? I have seen this done on a 78 Bronco and 85 Blazer and just thought WHY?!?!?!? Get a truck if you want a truck.
Thanks but who needs an F150. After following a chained up new F150 up a Montana Mountain the F150's tail was sliding all over the place. The Bronco in 4 Low just poodled up the mountain unchained and no squirming.
I found a web site "Creative Products" that do a conversion cost 669 + shipping and handling.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-Nov-02 AT 10:12 PM (EST)]OK how new was the F150? LWB or SWB? What rearend gear motor combo? If you remove the rear seat and top the weight goes with it and you will be sliding your tail just like the F150 right? Fun to take the top in good weather but why turn it into a truck? I want to hear the reasoning here. Just like to hear peoples opinions on this. I know Bronco has a little shorter wheelbase than a SWB F150 just how much of a bed would the BRonco give you? What is the website for "Creative Products"? probably mods will pull addy if you leave it on a post so give a hint. I want to see what one looks like.
I have thought about doing an F/ Bronco conversion for a while. I see these ultra-shortbed Chebbies runnin around, they are just K-5's with a pickup cab and cut down bed bolted on. Why can't I do the same with a Bronco? It would be an awesome woods/hunting rig. You have the manueverability of the Bronc, but you can keep the deer outside the heated cab.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Nov-02 AT 09:35 AM (EST)]I went to the Creative Products site. This mod is a new one to me. I kinda like the looks of it. Reminds me of the Early Bronco Pickup version a little. Would make a heck of a huntin' outfit.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Nov-02 AT 10:15 AM (EST)]I'll keep my heated cab as big as it is, thanks. That's why I built a fold-down grille guard and a hitch-hauler strong enough to carry 1/2 ton.

I haven't tried to see how much the grille guard will carry yet, but it held up the front of the truck when I rolled over.
