Hooker Aerochambers

Have had dual Flows on 460,s 5.0's, 4.6, about everything. Just put on some Hooker Aerochambers at the recommendation of a Engine Master's Challenge builder. These were on a dual 460.

I AM IN LOVE! They do not have the irritating resonance and drone of the flows, but the tone and sound is INCREDIBLE! They even flow better and are cheaper!

Yep I've got those mufflers. They do sound great. I recently cut the tailpipes off of mine because they where getting too quite for me.

So are they loud or not? I crave for that sound that sounds like a motorcycle, with lots of backfiring, and loud screaming. I dont know which muffler will give that to me on my true dual 460 off of the headers. In my state in order to get a inspection you need a muffler that has a a baffle, do these gave one?

I installed a Hooker AeroChamber on my Explorer about 3 years ago, and it has served well. Moderately deep tone on the outside, but no droning on the inside, and none of that 'tinny' sound you get with chambered mufflers. Those things are heavy with lots of steel used in production; I don't see how they sell them so cheaply.....FordF350Baby, there's no backfiring or screaming with the Hookers, so you might want something a bit louder?
