Timing marks missing on 351w

If the only mark left on the balancer is the TDC mark, how do you calibrate for different degrees?

with an adjustable timing light......set the light to 14* and then bring the timing mark to 0.....

Would that make it 14* BTDC? I think that makes sence....Remember, I learn slow!!! LOL!
