auto to manual
i'm considering swapping my auto tranny for manual. does anybody know how much work is involved. also, is there any 4 or 5 speed manual trans that would bolt up to a 302 ( never really liked those 3 speeds)

the tremec 5 and 6 speeds will work well with a 302 and you can get a hold of most of the parts fairly cheap.
you may be able to find a late model mustang or 1/2 ton pickup and pull the parts from there.
the swap will probably require moving or modifying your existing trans crossmember and will definately require driveline modification.
