Question Quick question.
To determan what gears i have in my truck i could just count the teeth on the pinion and divide by the number or teeth on my ring gear right? Or is it the other way around?

Ring gear divided by pinion. The ring gear will have more teeth. If you divide by the ring gear, you will end up with a very small number.

Yea cuz this is the only way really to tell what ratio i have since the tag is gone, and i was never told a deff. answer by the old owner. He says he thinks 4.10 but i dont wanna risk anything. So ima pull the diff pan again and check it.
