P0401
Kinda sounds like the EVR is leaking, maybe thats the root cause of your problems.
If you decide to replace it, let us know if it fixes the P0401 & warm engine stumble at throttle up, problem.
You could still have more than one problem, but the EVR leaking could cause both I suppose!!!!
I have to run the tests fast, have no choice. Runnin out of daylight, its getting cold, and I have to be up at 5am and work 12hrs. Gotta get this done as fast as my lil hands can go. With the truck stumbling as it is ans the fact that I have to keep it in passing gear for the most part doesn't do great things for my gas milege. At the price of gas I gotta get it fixed.

Would hate to see you not run all the tests & jump to a conclusion too quickly, because you got a result you were looking for & miss something else, then end up unsuccessfully throwing another part at the problem that didn't fix it!!!
Anyway, keep us posted.
Your my hero. The new EVR is on and truck driven until normal operating temp reached. NO bucking, NO stumbling, NO CEL, SMOOTH ride. Thank you so much for all your help and patience and your infinite wisdom on these new fangled truck engines. Believe it or not after all this I still have hair, I have not pulled it out, thanks to you. Once again Thanks.
Andi
Way to stick with it to the end Andi, feels good to win one once in a while. doesn't it.
Good feedback too, maybe this will help others with a similiar P0401 trouble code have the determinitation, to stick with & trouble shoot their problem to a successfull ending.
I know I've learned a thing or two!!!!
Good to hear all is well & your "on the road again"!!!!
Let us know how the mpg improves.
