Hi everyone i got a 94 bronco with a 302 in it. Last year i swapped my auotmatic tranny for a 5 speed. Since then i lost my 4WD low and my reverse lights. Does anyone know if there is a wiring harness made to plug into the old automatic harness and goes into the new 5 speed? Another question i have is i got a weird clunking noise comming from the front end. It does it when i hit bumps and when i tap on the breaks. I put new rotors and ball joints on and the clunk is still there. i have no idea where its comming from. Any info and help would be great its drivin me insane. Thanks
Both the broncos I own used to do the front end clunk. It took me a year and a half to figure it out. I don't know if it's your problem but I had to replace the radius arm bushings. About a year later my '87 started doing the same thing again. I replaced the bushings again but this time I spent the money and went with polyurethane bushings and haven't heard it since. I've heard of that problem from several people and I thinks it's pretty common. I don't know about the harness but if you can get a wiring diagram for the original harness you should be able to split the harness and run the wires to make your lights work, and as for the 4lo you already cut a hole for the shifter so why not upgrade the trans. case and get a manual shift so you can control the 4x4 and not the computer.
