AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Stupid truck! Left me stranded. No start this morning. It cranked and the tach moved. It smoke white plenty. After waiting for 90 seconds on the 3rd try it hit, but would not start. It did this several times. It still spun pretty good, but I gave up before I killed the battieries. Alright I didn't get stranded. My girlfriend took me to work. Perhaps it will start this evening when I get off work. I hope it is fuel that has gelled, or whatever it does when it gets too cold. Yeah I know, I should have put an additive in it. It has a fresh tank of fuel in it.
Hmmmm. I thought getting this out would make me feel better, but I'm still stewing over it. *&$%*& it!!

If its real cold try plugging in the block heater for a few hours, make it start a little easier in the cold. If that helps then its time to replace the glow plugs and possibly the glow plug relay.

Great give me something else to worry about! The truck is at my girl's apartment complex, so it didn't get plugged in or charged any. I'll see what happens here in an hour or so.

Whew! The big turbo diesel started on the second try this evening. Made a massive smoke cloud from all that unburned fuel. I put some winter blend diesel kleen in it too, 'cause its gonna be cold again tonight.

Mine takes awhile to start in the cold when it has been sitting all night. Probably time to check the gpr.

It depends on the GPR. Some last 1 winter, others go for years. I use the GPR110, seems to be the best deal.
