Can anyone recommend a source for affordable (cheap) covers for the rear seat on my 01 SD super cab? I'm not looking for great style just something to cover the seats, My dog rides there, So far I can't find much available and what I do find are more than I want to pay.
Coverking, You can get some different types, I purchased a set of the Cordura covers, they are heavy duty and waterproof. These will last a long time,I haul a choclate lab in mine. He cant hurt these things. Price when I got mine was 119.00 a setand that was in October
Don't know how extensive you want to get but take a look a these guys...very quick to respond to my e-mail earlier this week and are sending me samples.
Good luck.
i have the cabela ones mentioned above, but for captains chairs and ilove them.
they go on and fit pretty good, for the money, you can't beat them. i use this truck for work and i am dirty a lot of times getting in, and i like that i got them for 30 bucks each. although, i did buy the bench seat one and it didn't fit on the REAR bench seat of my crewcab. i guess it's meant for the front bench seat.
they have camo, tan, gray. i got the gray and i have no regrets. great covers without breaking the bank.
lots of pockets on the back of them for storage, and also holes for the seat controls.
I had the cabelas covers on my old truck and man did I like them. I dont think they were the el cheapo variety, kind of a coarse looking thick cloth with the leather stripe down the middle. I did things to that truck that'd make your ma blush and when I traded it in at 98000 miles they peeled the covers off to see what was under them and those seats hadn't gotten touched. They were darn near new.
I've looked at the cabelas but from what I've sen they wont fit the rear seats. Ive got the cabelas in front and really like em, but still looking for something for the rear.
yeah. i don't know why the bench seat covers for the trailgear cabelas won't fit on the rear seat of a crewcab. i guess it's just a few inches longer than the front bench seat. I had to send it back because i had orignally bought to buckets and one bench cover. very disappointing because I have a kid in the back sometimes and they make messes and also for work, i wanted to be able to throw stuff on them without ruining the factory seats.
let me know if you find something that looks decent for the rear seat of a crew.
I made a very simple plywood and 2x4 platform covered by scrap carpet for my dog. Dog toenails will destroy anything else. The platform is easialy removed.
I just bought my F250 King Ranch CC and didn't want my Black Lab scarring up the leather. I went to Wally World and found an inexpensive bench cover for less than 20 bucks.
It's pretty simple to install, but not sure how they would fit the back seat of your Super Cab. I've got a F150 SC and I know the back bench isn't as tall nor as deep as the bench is.
Bottom line, I wanted something simple, CHEAP, and durable enought to let me chauffeur my dog around and this fit the bill.
