Engine and ZF swap started...

Engine and ZF swap started...
Well I started my engine and ZF swap today after work. Got my engine and T19 out, all my parts swaped over to the other engine, got the new engine in, a few things bolted up.... I called it a night aroung 10PM...
So far everything has gone well... hope to be driving the truck around this time tomorrow night...
Off to sleep... I will fill in more info tomorrow, as I know lots of guys are looking for ZF swap info

Well, engine and tranny are in... run really good!
The ZF was 99% a direct bolt in to a T19.... OD is an amazing thing!! I am very happy...
The SMF as most people say does create a fair amount of gear clatter at lower RPMs and under differen loads... kind of annoying, but I guess thats life
As for the engine... it was SOOOOO slow... SOOOO slow... so I turned up the fuel a tounch and advanced the pump timing.... now sounds more like a PSD and has more power, not anywhere near the tired 6.9L I pulled out with 240 000 miles on it... this one has like half of that.....
Oh well, I did not get the truck running till 10PM, then with tuning and I played with the stereo a bib ( just put some new stuff in ) and had to change the reverse switch it was almost midnight.... my test drive was a short one.... so off today for a test drive.....
