AHHHH!!! Finally. After searching all the boneyards and the areas, and calling all sort of interior accessory places. Finally found a dealer in Texas, Who of all things sent me back to the dealer 15 minutes from my house where i started...Who said he could get them. ARGH
Well, 35 a side for bracket and pad, and he says the cover nay come with them, But he couldnt be sure. Anyone know of a place to buy covers in case i need them? Or about how much its gonna cost to get a set made?
What sort of armrest do you need? Driver door passenger door? The brown eddie bauer color? My local scrap yard has a couple eddie bauer broncos one is a 95 I could take a look for you.
I need the inside armrest, that sit over the center console. Im getting the bracket and the pads, Not sure about the slip over covers. I can only hope. If you can get a set, Let me know, Ill pay you for them and the shipping.
Are they the ones that are attached to the bucket seats? I have two grey ones on my parts bronco. I am sure yours are brown. I will take a look at the eddie bauers at my local junkyard. There is a few of the eddie bauers but one or two were older late 80s or early 90s There was a 95 also I will look at it two It did have the seats but that was a month or so ago.
If you could check those eddie bauers for the leather covers that go over them, That would be awesome. I have the tan interior. Even if they arent in great shape, Its better then bare foam. I checked around today again, And to try and "replicate" the originals would be $75 bucks a side. Tahts outta my range.
If its possible, Great. If not, Thanks for trying.
If you are talking about the arm rests that are on captain's chairs, you might be able to buy the covers through Ford. My 1990 has cloth captain's chairs, and I was searching for replacement arm rests. When to a local dealership's parts department and got a price on Crystal Blue cloth covers for the arm rests.....$58.67 each, plus tax.(OUCH!)I'm going to start looking in local junkyards for arm rests for a '87-'91 Bronco which has a blue interior.
I have a '93 XLT with grey leather interior and would be interested in an arm rest for the driver's side seat. I apologize if it is inappropriate to buy or sell on this site. (I am new to this forum)
Dave, San Jose, Ca.
1993 XLT Bronco 5.8l/E4od/ 3.55
White. with 241k miles and still runs perfect.
P.S. The interior in my 2000 Vette with 21k miles on it, hasn't held up as well as my 1993 Bronco with 241k!
The grey ones I have are not leather, sorry. I will look for a grey one when I look for the tan ones in my local scrap yard. The problem I bet that I will run in to is that they will want to sell the whole seat not just the armrest. But if the seat is damaged then they will part them out.
