If MB sees or knows you were racing and it broke, will they stand behind it still? Ask JT Harvey. BTS stood behind the trans while Brian was in the crowd watching him race.
And towed him back to lead hill with a borrowed truck to do the fix.
I think from Colorado on a car hauler and had him on the road in a just under or over a day(after arriving back at BTS). Wow....Can you beat that? Oh, and the kicker, JT won the trans in a drawing....And it was all good. I'm telling ya, that story will live on in infamy as someone once said (way before my time I might add). And to this day it still shows why most of us will get a BTS when it comes time.
Yes, it was on a huge car hauler, on loan from a BTS customer. It was actually offered up...Brian didn't ask to use it. I got home about 10 or 11 pm, on the day I was due in. I had planned to be back about noon. Less than 12 hours behind schedule when something like that happens? I'll take that any day.
I did win the trans as a door prize at their open house last year too, so Brian stood behind his product 100%. Oh, and it was the stator in the TC that had failed - bad from the start. One of those freak things. It just took a 20 psi boosted 4x4 launch of my 8000lb truck to snap it. But, if you look at trucks like Cales twin turbo, Dockboy's 11 second truck, or the WOP twin turbo race truck, you can see the converter holds up just fine with no defects. They all use the same converter that I and every BTS customer gets.
Bottom line, you can't go wrong with a BTS trans. I'm sure there are other good ones out there, but I don't think anyone has the reputation for good customer service, and just being overall good to people that Brian does. Brian is one of those rare guys in business who realizes that treating people right will get you far.
Sorry for the length. I just can't express enough how well BTS has treated me; everyone there, not just Brian. I have never done business with anyone that can come close to comparing.
By the way, the BTS Dyno Day / Open house this year is June 8th, if anyone is interested. I don't have any inside info on whether or not door prizes will be given away, but I had no idea about it last year either. I just headed down to check out Brian's shop.

Nah, Alan, I go down there about every three weeks anyway for buisness, and now that i am over 35 I don't want to be anywhere near there for spring break. UNLESS there is a 45ft sportfisher involved and some fish to harass.
Jeremy, I remember reading your story on tds last summer.
the reason I asked the question is cause thats all grampy jim ever preached was a Suncoast tranny. I did a lttle research and since I am in that area about every three weeks figured I would float up a balloon.
I know Brian does a helluva job, there are too many people here and there to prove otherwise, I am just exploring options....

I know the feeling. I'm in Indianapolis and TS(only a few hrs away in KY) has a good line on the SunCoast. And, I have an inside family line on all the SunCoast guts with a local trans guy to put it all together. But, all the BTS stories, including Jeremy's make the BTS a very very great option.
I installed his VB and less than a month later, my diode locked up. Fried the trans. Gauge never went over 220 but when I checked the fluid, it makes burnt fluid smell good. Drove it another 20 miles to Dad's place woth the 8500# toy hauler and drove it home 70 miles. All the way in gears 1-2. Well, of course, the VB was bathing in that fluid and debris. BTS gave me credit for the VB. I probably wouldn't give someone credit for the part after what it has been thru. Close to 100 miles of overheated fluid. No thanx.

Hey Alan, seen this? Figured out what you got yet?
