Well I ordered my new system today.. About $300 bucks worth! Here's a low down on what I got;
18ft CoPhase Coax (Gray Shielded)
Uniden 68 Elite (Scoped and White Noise Filter)
Springs
Studs
Wilson Silverload 4FT Black (Dual)
Right now the old CB is mounted on the Center Hump with a Pedestal Mount. I routed the CoPhase through the Rear Driver Side door up the door panel and around the carpet by the firewall to the radio.. Anyone know any other way to get it in to maybe save some time? I wish there was a hole on the back of the cab between the truck/bed.. But I don't see one.. I'm not comfortable drilling one..
What about the Filters..?
Any idea what I could do or is running through the door about as good as it gets?
There IS a hole between the bed and the back of cab. It's the high brake light/bed light. Pull the light, file a small slot to allow cable to fit and reinstall the lamp lense. Done! Where did you mount the antenna's?

The antenna's are on my Toolbox.. So the Brake Light is a no go for that one.. I don't want the cables going all the way up there.. lol
I ran the coax down behind the left kick panel, then through the LF rocker panel, then the LR rocker panel. At the rear I drilled a hole in the bottom of the rocker panel. Then looped the coax under, then up between the cab and the bed. Really easy, all of the panels just snap in place. Don't forget to seal the hole, and to secure the coax with nylon ties where it is exposed underneath. And don't forget to loop the coax so the water will drip off, and not into the rocker panel.

The 04's have it too thats where i ran my coax. It's under the drivers seat.
Where at in the floor? How the heck do you get the carpet up.. I had this tonneau cover on mine and I saw where they ran the cargo light up in that rubber hole.. But I couldn't get the carpet up enough.. I had to cut that wire under the truck and yank it from the side.. I know where the hole is.. Just the carpet is so damn stuck I'm afraid to yank and rip something then my carpet be jacked up..
I see yours is a powerstroke but look under the truck on the outside of the frame about where the front of the drivers seat is. I don't know if your fuel filter is there like the gas models(mine) but if it is look on the outside of the frame. I pulled the door plate off and lifted the mat up enough to pull the coax through then ran it along the plate side up into the dash. Heres a couple pics.
Heres where i mounted mine.
I'm running a 102" whip off the tool box.

There is also another 2 holes, where the air vents are on the rear wall of the cab. You can route through there as the soft rubber flapper will still close and it is below the the truck bed too.
Sweet Ranger... That was my favorite CB I've ever had... I had two of them back in the 90s. Wish I hadn't sold one or both of them... I try to find the older ones on EBAY but it's so hard to tell the working condition.

(Oh yeah, my coax is running through the vent in the back of the cab. You can probably see it in my gallery. Just make sure to run a loop down so water doesn't run into the cab.)
EDIT: Here's mine, coax runs into the vent on the right hand side of the pic. there's some slack to create a loop between the bed and cab, then it goes up to the tool box.

That one has been through a bunch! The big weakness with the ranger is the that the board cracks which is what happened to mine. Its been repaird and works great however they IMO aren't meant for vehicles.
My worry is this.. CoPhase only comes in 18 foot strand.. I don't want to attach a 3 foot extension to get it to my CB without it being tight.. Right now its kinda tight and pulls my CB towards pass side.
I was told if I throw that ext on I'll degrade my signal.. Which I guess makes sense but boy it would be EASY!
