I have a 2001 F150 SuperCrew Lariat 4x4.
Can i just get skid plates off an FX4 and they'll bolt on?
i haven't been able to find any aftermarket ones....
Yes, you should be able to bold them on to your truck as long as you have the same style truck, even if it is not an FX4. You could also look for 4x4 offroad packages, they have the skids as well. Good luck

Before they came out with the FX4, it was called the 4x4 off road package. I have a 2wd and needed them, and of course, no one makes any for 2wd, so I had to make my own.
I just bought a 2003 F150 that didn't have the offroad package, and I needed a skid plate in front to keep corn stalks from getting into the engine compartment. I just took a skid plate off of my old 2000 f150 offroad package that I was ready to sell. It bolted right up to it with no difficulty.
