Ok guys, first major problem with the 2001 F250 SD. Got in her tonight after work, colder than anything, negative zeros. Turned on the heater, nothing, no fan, little amount of heat coming out of vents. Checked mini fuse in passenger compartment thats tied in with the passenger airbag switch, its good. Checked maxi fusi under the hood its good as well, only other possibility im seeing from the owners manual is that its the circuit breaker fuse under the hood, which i dont see blowing unless something was seriously wrong. Anybody got any ideas on what I could test, or any possibilities of what is wrong. Thanks in advance for the help!!
Alright guys, strange things going on with the SD. Problems with the heater have gone away, pulled out of the parts store today, was goofing around with the heater fan switch, turning it on off, through all the speeds etc. All the sudden the heater turned on. My question now is if this is something I should be worried about, or perhaps just ice on a connection or perhaps down where the fan motor is?? Thanks!

I would check the heater blower motor resistor pack. It is located in the engine bay on the outside of the blower motor.

Just did a search for this problem. Got in my truck tonight and no heat- #$%^. I had a similar problem in another vehicle, so I just tapped below the glove box where the blower is and whammo----insta heat. Guess it's time for a new blower motor
