I'm running Sanderson headers on a 302
in my '54 but they are cracked & leaking
pretty bad. Have a toyota PS set up & using
an '84 truck bellhousing with a toploader 4 speed.
Only suspension change is reverse eye springs from
Mid Fiftys.
Thinking with the motor setup & gearing, longer tube
headers should help with the lower & midrange torque
(maby better fuel economy) Since I'm going to have to
replace the headers anyway, I was wondering if any
body had tried tri y's on a similar setup.
Just not sure about clearance.
