Custom Effies

While looking at the pictures of the Sow Me F100's Branson run that Brian B posted, I saw this. Seems like awhile back someone posted re: custom effies in the 50's and 60's. This one is good representation [less the hood tilt] of the ones I remember seeing in the magazines. Even had a couple around town fairly close in appearance. Just thought it was worth a post.

It is a nice looking truck, I wonder why they cut the frame horns but didn't mold the valance?

Or possibly he had a front tilt clip on it and then decided to go with the front tilt hood after it was painted????

Maybe he has to put a bumper on for inspection?

I always liked the 54/55? Buick headlights on the early custom pickups.

Too much bling bling for my liking but it looks clean otherwise. My friends would think I became a pimp if I drove it around.

Think it would look better all white or all red. And I like those caps and grill. RUSTY

I'm not a big fan of the grille but I love scallops and wide whites. The spinner hubcaps are a nice touch too
