anybody know how to find out if there is a junkyard or w/e around ur town. I cant seem to find one and I would love to do this exact thing with my seats. Therefor I need a console
For some salvage parts, you guys might try a specialty truck salvage yard here in my town that ships nationwide. Nuelle's 4x4 Salvage. I know the owner and he is a good guy. Look them up at www.nuelles4x4salvage.com
Remember that junkyard guys are trying to make money like everyone else. I've got the fortune of being in good with my local guy, he's a nice redneck, but some of them will try and just get as much money as possible (like the place that wanted $30 for a 4 place fuse box out of an old Chevy).
haha Ranger_Pilot i got the same steering wheel cover as you.. just thought I would point that out haha.. good luck with the project LOOKIN GOOD
I'm on my second 1 like that LOL. The first one got faded and worn and the stitching was coming undone so I had to make a trip to wal-mart to get another one.
yeah I got over a year and a half out of a $10 steering wheel cover so I'm not gonna complain. Not to mention that I took my first one out of my Ranger and put it in my 95 F350 and let it go when I traded her in so I got couple years of service out of it.
I got my seats from a '90 Bronco II, the vehicle was iinvloved in a roll over, so it was shot. I had to get rid of that god awful 60/40 split bench, it was driving me nuts!!!
The 60/40 just doesn't provide the support, IMHO. It's flat...it reminds me of the seats at school, they're just a flat bottom and a flat back. They sit up straight and awkward, I can't stand them. I'll deal with it for the time being until I can get some suitable replacement bucket seats.
Ok...this weekend will come the time for me to do everything truck related. New radiator, then I'll get the sub box and amp mounting done.
