which code reader?

I was wondering what code reader you all recommend? I have a western diesel chip that I don't know anything about. Company went out of business. Big, unknown stainless steel exhaust from manifold back. I don't know if that makes any difference, but threw it out there just in case it did.

You can't go wrong with the Auto Enginuity software. Available from ITP Diesel.

I agree AE all the way..when you get one from ITP..a site sponsor.you get live help on how to run test and trouble shooting..ITP has a forum like FTE to ask question and get answers..Dennis is always in there and is very helpful along with other folks like us..you also get on line up dates..you can do live readings and record data for future reference..you cant go wrong getting this..it pays for it self in a short amount of time..here is the link..after you read up on AE scrole back to the top of the page and click on forum then scrole down to near the bottom and find AutoEnginuity..check it out!!!
