hey guys, i was searching around for prices on injectors and stacks and stumbled across a site called dpppower dot com. diesel performance plus was the name. they offer injectors 250 dollars cheaper than beans stage I's! plus their stacks were 50 dollars cheaper than anywhere else i saw them for 4" dual chrome! anyone had any experience with this company?? im looking at an upcoming injector replacement (stage I's from either company) in the spring along with stacks, so looking for some input. thanks.
well, not quite sure if fishermann was being serious or not, but thus far i'm pretty sure I'll be ordering their RDS stage II injectors (180cc) and possibly a dp chip (3pos) as soon as my tax refund check comes in. what should i be expecting as far as power output after this modification? im leaning towards the dp, but would running the superchip i have now work with the stage II's?? I have a smf conversion and im not sure what type of clutch is in my truck. it was replacd right before i bought my truck in october 2005. should i be concerned?
well just looking at their website the stage-II's give 190hp
you can use a tuner but you will not get the full potential from the injectors. in fact i doubt you will notice any difference than the way you are setup now! only way injectors perform to their full potential is if your computer is telling them to!
i would say regardless of your clutch you will be fine until you get a real chip and unleash the power. can you get a hold of the previous owner and see what kind of clutch he put in? maybe you will get lucky and he put in a SB con-ofe
unless valve cover gaskets are burnt (check!!) then no, they are resuable
