I really baby the thing and only getting 10mpg in town. I had the codes read the the Ford house and had every thing fixed. Is a '02 PSD 3.73's 4x4 4 door short bed. Does this sound right to you? Seams real low to me. And I have not check on highway milage. AND I am getting this info from the onboard computer thing in the upper console. Heck maybe this thing is wrong.
I would not trust the onboard computer do the math manually and see what you get that way. Most people that have the console with the onboard computer don't trust them.
The on board calculator is not even close and it's hard to do it by hand cause the pump shuts off and you can still put around 5 gallons more fuel in it so it's hard to tell if the tank is at the same point it shut off last time you filled up. But i wouldn't trust that center computer.
If I have a lot of stop and go stuff, thats about what I get. Keep your foot out of it as much as possible, you may get a little higher. Winter fuel sucks. Ugh!
