hello guys. Saw a picture of the rear of a 56 with awesome rear lights. long and slim, laid flat in the roll pan. i know that the chrome from a Lincoln Mk VII reverse/fog light assembly is used but dont know which lenses to replace them with for stop/tail/turn as well as rev/fog. Anybody out there got this fitted? would you let me know which vehicle to get the lenses from ? Please?
thank you.
Guys
as you can see i'm a newbie and have yet to work out how to insert a picture. but the 56 i'm refering to is in the galleries listed as Phat56(around page 14 if you search out 56's) Please take the time to have a look and you never know you might like them too.
Thanks guys
thank you guys. yeh, thats the one Jag Red 54. those lights are just what i had in mind. i once read an arlicle from a guy describing how he made exactly the same thing from numerous cars. the lincoln chrome trim being one. wish i could remember where i read it! Damn that old age thing.
You can get the reflective red or white plastic sheet at any good plastics supply house and cut your own lenses, Or there are plenty of suppliers that will make custom led tallights. I just bought a set to fit 99 Caddy chrome rings.
