trans question

ok i really screwed up ive posted here before so let me tell you all what i did
i have an 1989 F150 -w- an AOD trans. well i first striped both rear bolts then i drilled and taped the holes and striped them again and drilled again now here is what i did i drilled all the way through the casting lip into the transmition so i can fill in the holes witch i did and got some sheet metal screws and drilled them one held the other one well went all the way through so what should i do now?
take it to a trans shop or replace it?

Maybe you should just have someone else do your work. LOL

at this point I would contact a tranny shop and have them do yoiur work for you. Obviously you don't know the power of your own strength. IF you insist on doing the work yourself, go down to your local Auto Parts store and invest in a modern "click it" type of torque wrench and stop over torquing.
Next you are going to have to replace the damaged parts. You didn't specify if it was the tail shaft or the main case that you drilled. If it is just a tail shaft that bolts to the main case. Hit the pick a part treasure trove. If it is the main case. Hit the tranny shop and have them put you a reman together.
