Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. New and used available 25.5 and 33 gal either steel or plastic. $160 for the steel and $120 for the plastic I think.

HELP!!!!!!! Gas Leak

For a temporary fix, rub it with a bar of hand soap. It won't last very long, but it's better than being a fire hazard.

HELP!!!!!!! Gas Leak

Autozone or pepboys carries fuel tanks. I believe Autozone wanted 140 and could be there in 2 days.

HELP!!!!!!! Gas Leak

I bought a rear tank for my F150 on ebay. If I wasn't in a hurry one could be had for about $60. There's a couple guys on there that list tanks for our applications all the time. I got outbid at $70 and then the next day the seller sent me a personal offer to sell me a tank too at the last bid so I took him up on it at $71 plus shipping. Got the tank in a few days. I think the tank might be thinner than OEM and is painted black and not galvanized but otherwise looks good. Came complete with sender O-ring and lock-ring. The old tank rusted thru from the Iowa salted roads so I did a quick sandblast on the new tank and coated it with 3 coats of POR15. I think I'll be good to go for quite some time now. If your interested in the E-bay thing just punch in "Ford gas tank." The seller that I bought from has a web site where he lists the tanks at $99 plus shipping so if your in a real hurry and don't want to wait for the auction to end you can buy them there. The guy was based in Pennsylvania but the tank was direct shipped from Sila fuel systems in Connecticut.

Yeah, these clowns around here want 1/2 of new for a salvage tank and they all look worse than the one I scrapped. That rear tank really takes a hit here in Iowa with the road salt. Plastic is really the way I shoulda gone but didn't want to pay the price. I really think the POR15 coating will make this thing last a long time.
