I hope that this is not my problem. But my truck is really nasty around the shroud between the tranny pan and the engine. It really does not drip much, maybe a few drops of of the bolts, but mainly just looks dirty. Is this for sure the rear main seal or is it something else? If someone can tell me how to post pics I have some.
most of the time it is cooming from on top in the valley..maybe fuel drain o rings or o rings under the turbo..take a good look in the valley and see if it looks wet...a leaking rear main seal on a 7.3 is very rare

My advice to you is look up. On top of the engine that is. The turbo pedistal o rings are notorious leakers on these things. My truck is wet there as well. I learned on here, saving myself alot of money, that it wasn't the rear main seal.
I checked the valley of the engine and it is definely disgusting toward the back of the valley. It is not the fuel bowl, it is dry p there and I just relaced the o-rings and filter cap a month ago because they were leaking. All of the hoses and everything under the turbo are covered. What should my next step be? Sounds like a good time to do some turbo upgrades, I now have an exuse for my wife! I hope you guys do not mind but I blame alot of my mods on you, take sthe blame off me for my wife! lol Again what should my next steps be?
