Where on the CD will I find instructions to remove the Defroster/Wiper switches ? I need to change the illumination bulb. I dug around but couldn't find it.
What year is your van? At least on the early models, the bulbs were built into the switch modules. If you're real careful, it's possible to disassemble the switches and replace those bulbs. But it's much easier just to go to the salvage yard and get replacements.
I assume you need to take the switch apart ? Haven't got there yet.
Thinking of the bulbs. I just ordered those monster fuses for the LL compressor on my Expedition. I got a GIANT catalog of electronic components. I'll you the name when I get home.
From what I remember it's not hard to take the dash apart. The switches snap into a dash panel. The bulb has a twist type of thing to come out. There is a plastic base and the bulb is connected to it. I thought I might have to find a generic bulb and connect it to the base. But I lost the base before I ever got around to finding replacement bulb. No one around here has the original bulb. Let me know if you have any luck.
