Transmission Screech?

Transmission Screech?
I have noticed on my 2001 SCrew that onder hard(WOT) acceleration the transmission will squeak?, screech?, I'm not sure what best describes it. The engine will be warmed up, there is no noticable problems otherwise. Any ideas?

I am experiencing what sounds to be a similar problem. Reference discussion topic "High Pitch Grind Noise 2-3 Upshift 4-2 Downshift". I have not resolved the problem. Have you had any luck?

Transmission Screech?
My 2002 makes that screech also at wot from second to third..didnt have it checked out yet..I do tow heavy loads a considerable amount of time.Do not really like this tranny for towing,to wide of ratios on top and way to wide of overdrive.Wish they would go back to the E40D style I had in a 99 powerstroke instead of the R style..That worked perfect with a hypertech tuner installed..
