Which turbo for 03

I have the sticking vane problem with my 03 F250. The p/n of the turbo is
1837984C94. I need a new one, so I looked on ebay and on other sites on internet. The turbos after 09/30/2003 doesn´t fit, right ? Does they fit with the pedestal of the 04´model ?? I found different Garrett p/n : 1837984C3 and 1832255C91 on ebay. Does anybody know if they fit to my truck.

The FORD part is 3c3z-68682-BARM but they want 1400 $ to germany.......
and the old turbo back....

Without changing the intake manifold with it; you'll need to find an 03 turbocharger. Keep your eye out on ebay; there are some of them on there periodically.

well depending on your skills, you could probably fix your problem. remove and seperate the turbo, and sand blast the ring and the vanes where they shift in the ring. if the ring is cracked, there is no serviceable parts so the turbo is trash. make sure you clean the ring and vanes good before reassembly. most of my sticking turbos have been due to rust on the unison ring.

I need my Truck every Day for my business ( 150.000 on the odometer) If I seperate the turbo and its broken I need minimum 2 weeks to get one, better buy a new one and seperate the old one after.

Thank you for your help, its very hard to get help here in germany for a truck who is not imported by Ford.

03 turbo on e-bay

hey the # for your 03 is 3c3z-68682-barm is it .I bought one on e-bay in sept. for $510 new sealed in ford box.if you plan on installing it yourself, its alot easier to remove the exhaust down pipe to get to the rear mounting bolt on the turbo and use a good penetrating oil on the 3 bolts. it was pretty easy to do. good luck

Thank you very much for your help. In the last 3 weeks I looked every day on ebay, but only 04 and up turbos. I know, If I buy one at the Ford dealer, the next day is one 03 turbo on ebay :-)
