Crazy Jeep Timing Issue? Help Please.
A friend of mine just installed a new timing set into his CJ-7 Jeep amc 360. In regards to setting the timing, seems he can either have a good idle with rough acceleration and crusing speed or just the opposite, rough idle with smooth acc. and crusing speed. No happy medium... This is pretty much all I know about the situation except that he wants me to come over this afternoon and "fix" it. Can anyone give me any pointers as to what I may look at first? Sorry about the lack of info, I'm sure I'll know MUCH more this evening. Thanks,Mark.
