I'm half way through installing mine

...and have the floor poured over the 1/2" PEX tubing which is zip-tied on 18" centers to the wire mesh re-inforcement. That lies over 2" foam board which is on 6 mil plastic. The building is 24'x40' with 12' clearance down, 16'x40' with 7'+ clearance up, gambrel (steel) roof, bat & board siding, some of which came from 8 pine trees from my yard, rough-cut by a local Amish fellow.

I plan to use a hopper-fed corn-fired boiler placed outdoors and piped in.

There is a web site that tells exactly how to do it. I'll see if I can find it. PM me if I don't get back in a day or two. Gotta get ready for work right now.

Local contractors here are all crazy acting about this, like it's going to the moon or something. Only guy I found who would do it couldn't pour the floor or do any sub-grading. Figgered if I had to do part of it, I'd do all of it. I did hire the concrete finished, however.

[On the concrete: if you plan to put down an epoxy type sealer, don't finish the concrete too smooth. For best bonding they tell me a light broom finish is best. I have to rough-up my surface to get the stuff to bond.]

I've got a long way to go though: insulation, wiring, grading for the boiler slab, man doors, overhead door, etc., etc. It all takes cash and I want to PAIG (pay as I go). Got too much financed as it is.

Good luck.
