Currently trying to rebuild a 351 for it. and also the interior. Anybody know of places that sell reasonable parts. Just starting so I can't spend to much. Have gotten a jc whittney catalog and LMC catalog. Are there any others?
Use professionals like Auto Krafters and National Parts Depot. Their service is always good. Summit Racing is good for engine parts, fast shipping and a good return policy if you make changes or have to modifiy your plan (which seems to always happen to me). Bronco Graveyard has good prices on a few things (like pushbutton shift transfer case motor) but their service is iffy and they'll short you on returns 20% and won't give refunds, even if they ship you the wrong part or something is backordered indefinitely.
I know you have the LMC catalog-just wanted to say-have been told repeatedly not to buy weatherstipping from them. They are 15 min fom my house so i use them alot as I can just go get it as $ allows. Never had a problem, they seem to have great parts, knowledgeable staff etc. I just go elsewhere for weatherstripping.
I replaced all of the weatherstripping in my Bronco about 4 years ago, most of it came from LMC. THeir prices were lower than many others, and it still looks like new. THey do not have a tech line, though.
And are you pleased with your weatherstriping from them(performance/fitment)? I had a guy from obsolete ford parts show me his and theirs side by side. Theirs looked kinda sad. That's been a few years ago, maybe they have done something different since then.
I am pleased with the weatherstripping. Many of the LMC items including some of those pieces were in original Ford Motor Co. packaging and had the Ford part numbers stamped on the box or bag.
