now, remember i live in Alaska, so the winters are pretty harsh, with the weather fluctuating in the past month from -36 to a whopping 34 deg. yesterday,,,,,,,,,,,,so for the first two weeks,
with boost tube i was getting 10 to 11 mpg.
the past week in a half since its been off, im getting 13 mpg,
these numbers are both calculated by gallons vs. mileage. (no lieometer)
these numbers are calculated with stock tune with mixed driving conditions, with an empty load.
stop and go,
highway,
15 min. auto starts every day
and there it is, better mileage with out boost tube,
but makes more power in the higher boost range with it.
Thats about the exact same numbers I have been seeing.
Pre Tube - 15.3
With Tube - 14.1
No Tube with DP Tuner - Next Week
Tube with DP Tuner - 2 weeks out
a buddy took tha tube off and in a sense pluged it by sticking by the other end of that red tube. he said it will help. I really dont know, but have not changed it. does blocking it do any thing? guess now I dont have a westgate that is hooked up.
