Hardest part may just be getting the tank down. You will need the quick disconnect tool too. Pretty straghtforward if you have any mechanical aptitude. Most have found the kits are a good deal rather than running around rounding up parts. Your link is the hompage, not showing the kit.
BTW, the biggest pita for me was getting that confounded threaded collar started back on at the top of the tank. My blood pressure goes up just thinking about it. The last item I was worried about.
You can try and gather up all the parts but your cost will most likely come to more that the kit that Dennis sells. It's a good kit with everything your need.
If you are mechanically inclined, it's an easy job if your tank is almost empty. A few pitfalls, search on Hutch Mod and In-tank mods and you'll have lots of reading while you're waiting for your kit to show up.
Tip: get a hose attached to the filter drain tube. Route it to a fuel can and jump the terminals on the pump with a battery or charger/jumper and fill a couple 5gal cans. This empties tank and provides on-hand fuel when you are done. Good luck.
I knew which on you were talking about. They sell it without the filter too IIRC. The filter is a good deal cause I believe you can get replacements for about $12.
