I'm rebuilding my 94 F150 4X4 with a 302. My question is, I'm looking to get a new cam for it. Where can I find a new stock spec cam and does anyone know the stock specs? It is a roller by the way. Thanx ~Chris
See this thread... A '94 should have an F4TE cam, it's a little smaller than the 5.0HO cam. ( Lift 0.422 intake, 0.449 exhaust, duration 256 intake and 266 exhaust)
hello new guy here, so is it a roller or not I am in the same boat.Mine is still running strong just thinking of building another to have on stand-by for when it goes
id call comp cams they will make you a custom cam for cheaper then what you can get anywhere else, i called and got one on my chevy 1500 just to improve low end tourqe since i put larger tires on and it only cost me $185 and i was very very pleased with it
Thanx for the help guyz. I'm not looking for anything more than stock. I did that with my mustang and with the chips and tuning it was a pain in the a$$. It's just gonna be my daily driver. Vortech-i believe the 93-96 were roller cams.
i know they will make you a cam a lil stouter than stock or full extreme racing you call them tell them what motor , trany and rear gears you have and tell them what kind of performance you want and they will make it, and you shouldnt have to tune anything
