I have a 2001 F250 4x4 ext. cab all stock with a V8. The tires are 265/75R16 stock wheels and rims.
What is the largest tire size that can fit on the truck with out rubbing or doing damage to the truck?
I have looked all over the forum and seen everything from 285/75R16 to 305/70R16 as the largest tire that will fit. Does anyone know which one will fit without lifting and using the stock rims?
Also, does anyone know anything about Firestone's Destination M/T with UNI-T? Are they good tires? Will be using the truck on and off road.
USCG I have read that the firestones mt's are way loud and that they don't last all that long when compaired to othe mt's. I like the bfg's or the goodyear mt's ,but they are the top of the line and you pay for it. You probably don't care as much how long the tire will last like most do because you don't have to drive to work everyday right? My brother is USCG as well he's an MK3 up in Milwaukee,WI Where are you at?
