I hope y'all don' tmind me posting this here but there isn't a dedicated forum to the 223 and 262 I-6. I have a '62 Uni F100 with a 262 that I purchased in non-running condition. After checking fluids, fixing wiring, rebuilding carb, installing new fuel pump, etc. I tried to fire it up. It fires and runs but is building up a ton of pressure in the upper part of the engine. If it wasn't for the hood (which now has a nice dent by the way) the breather would have launched three counties over. It is also pushing fuel out of the vent tube on the Holley 1-barrel. Is the exhaust plugged? Valve sticking? Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Is there a road draft tube, or is it a closed system with smog valve?
The 262 I-6 was the 1st of the Closed systems w/ a PVC valve.
And I've attempted to get the P-T-B to change the Name of this Forum to 144/170/200, 215/223/262 & 240/300 I-6's, so that members such as yourself would know that they could come here & discuss these I-6's w/o reservation.
