I called and talked with Brian last week about getting one of his E40D'S. He told me he beefs them up pretty good. The price is $3900.00 plus shipping and a $1000.00 core. Has anyone here actually bought a tranny from Brian, if so what do you think? Thanks Rob.

Never bought but many have and they seem to be a top notch place for a bullet proof tranny.

i've had mine for about 30,000 miles and couldn't be happier. top notch gang down there. i drove to his shop and it was a neat experience to watch brian tear it apart and put it all back together. you won't be disappointed.

I got a BTS @224,000 miles and now have 278,000. Not one problem. Brian, his wife, and staff are top notch folks. You can not go wrong with his transmission. Some will say it is overkill and to expensive, but I have never heard of anyone having a problem with one of his units and on two other PSD boards there are a lot of his trannys being run.

If you are thinking of other mods talk to Brian about that as he has a full shop. I can not tell where you are located, but the price is really cheaper if Brian installs it due to the lack of the shipping charge. Brian will go with you on a test drive to ensure you are pleased. You get there at 8am and are out the door about 4pm and that includes lunch.

You drove from philly to arkansas, to have your tranny replaced. How long a drive was it, mine will be about 11 hours, but i'm thinking that will be cheaper then $500 or so inshipping. I'll be driving from battle creek, michigan.

I am not in Philly, I once lived in SW PA., but I got to Texas as quick as I could. I am norht of Dallas about 70 miles. It took me about six hours to get there. Don't use the internet for directions the last 50-80 miles. Call Brian and tell him where you arecoming from and let him tell you which way to go.

On one of the other boards there are guys that came from British Columbia, Washiington State and Ca. to get their tranny rebuilt by Brian.

yea, i did. basically drove from philly to louisville, ky to meet up with some friends and pick up one to go with me on the rest of the trip, we split the driving from lousiville to lead hill and back, then we parted in louisville again. 2400 miles totalo, 18 hours driving each way. accomplished in 3.5 days including about 15 hours stopped in louisville, and a total of 5 hours of sleep for me. it was an exhausting trip but worth it. that was also about a year and a half ago when diesel was cheaper.
