Actually I have had trouble with blades wiping at the corners of the windshield on several cars because of the curve. I have got to using a shorter blade since different brands didn't seem to make much difference. Lately I have been buying the snow blades at Sam's and they usually last a year for me.

I just bought my third set of the Piaa Silicone blades, and can't recommend them enough. I have gotten an average of 16 months out of them before they begin to show wear. I get them from an on-line store called Wholesalemn.com. As I was ordering them and talking to Charles (the owner), I mentioned this thread and he said he would be happy to do a "group buy". He is in the middle of switching servers, so they aren't on the site yet but can be ordered by phone.
