radio delete bezel

radio delete bezel
I have found a radio delete bezel out of a 79 truck, my question is are they rare? I had planed on useing it to put a cd player in my truck im redoing but i would have to cut it up. and just wanted your opinions weather or not to do it?

I think they are pretty rare nowdays. Most of them have been cut up, or thrown away due to radios being added.
My 1973 with the radio delete did not have a delete plate however. The delete plate was incorporated into the instrument cluster bezel itself.
What is the part number on the plate may I ask? I have one or two floating around here myself.

There are a number of bezels out there that have the radio holes in them so you don't have to cut up the one you have. I wouldn't cut out the hole in yours. Maybe try to sell it and get yourself one with a hole.
