I would like to get some manuals on the 7.3 idi , never seen any at cdn tire stores.

Thanks PLC7.3, I guess i will have too get parts to order it. I have my 92 for 3yrs now,& want to learn more about it before things happen.

I hope their diesel book is better than their gas manuals. I find them to be a little vague.

Try www.Helm.com for factory manuals. This is probably the priciest way to go and sometimes you have to sift through the text a bit but it's an option.

I just realized I wasn't very clear in my last post. The searching I mentioned was about searching through the manual's software to get to the data you need. It has its own user interface that's not very well designed. It looks like something from the Windows 3.1 days. As a tech writer, I used to write interactive electronic tech manuals like this for the navy. The sailors hated them and after 10 years or so, we convinced the navy to go back to manuals produced in PDF format. I might try to transcribe this thing to PDF one day.
