Steve I just saw a replacement clutch pack for sale for the ford limited slip. The person stated that with there clutch pack it will make a ford limited slip clutches stronger,they will last longer and engage easier have you heard of anything like this?

They're blowing smoke. The only way their kit could make it "stronger" is if they're thicker or there are more clutches, causing more spring pressure, but ANY new kit would do that, too. And if there's more pressure, they DEFINITELY won't last longer because there'll be more wear, and they're ALWAYS "engaged" so that's bs also.

Lock both hubs (with auto hubs don't worry), lift ONE tire, and spin it until both hubs have locked in. If the only drag you feel is from the driveshaft spinning, it's open or your L/S is worn out. If your L/S is working, you'll barely be able to spin the wheel by hand. Alternatively, look at the sticker on the front axle, but I've never seen a '92-96 L/S so I don't know what to tell you to look for. Got a digital camera?
