I have a '63 unibody with a bed that is all beaten to heck and I'd like to replace the whole thing. I've seen standard repair panels on-line that tend to be about 16" x 48". Does anybody know if those will match the current bed?
Is it easier to piecemeal together a bunch of those panels to make a new bed or does someone sell complete beds of the right dimensions?
Thanks....

I have been searching high and low for a replacement bed floor. The only thing I keep coming back to is a donor bed that is in pretty good condition to cut the floor out of, patch panels, or saying the Heck with it and putting flat sheetmetal in. There is another option available and that is custom made wood flooring. Not cheap but it will fit with minor sanding and shaping.
