grounding brackets

In order to ground brackets to the block to ensure a good ground I have wire wheeled all the contact points. I was thinking of using dielectic grease to prevent corrosion. Good thought or is this type of grease only used for electic connections?

You can use that if you feel it's necessary.

I would wire wheel the spot, mount the brackets, then spray the spot with matching paint. If it is painted, no rust. just my 2 cents.
