Oasis Report

I know Im new here, but was wondering if someone would be kind enough to pull an Oasis for me on this VIN: 1FTSW21P85EA00613

Considering the purchase of this vehicle before trhe end of January. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It has engine surge on the highway at steady throttle. Other than that it runs and drives great.

Is this truck at a Ford dealer, private seller, or used car lot?

Its at a very small Ford dealer.

Do all dealerships use the OASIS program? I am looking at a truck at a dodge dealership, will they be able to get an OASIS for me? If not could someone run this VIN for me: 1FTWW31P55EC55260.

If it's a good truck and the price is right it wouldn't matter where you buy it. Wouldn't let them provide service on it though.

Thanks BowTieHatr! I dont know much about diesels, is it common to replace head gaskets? Or is it from overheating like in a gas motor? If its the same as a gas motor, blown head gaskets can cause a lot of other issues too.

someone probably had a tuner in itand a cement block for a right foot. head gaskets are very rare on the 05 and up. now, egr coolers on these trucks, are a whole nother ball game lol.
