9 = 49 and 50 Your serial number is so high it would be a 1950, not '49
8R = flathead V8
C = half-ton chassis
465197 = serial number
CH = Chicago assembly plant.
The panel guys will tell you where to find parts. NAPA has access to quite a few of what you'll need.
Check out the sponsors section of this site, there are a bunch of vendors that can help on some items. Start ordering catalogs, most of the catalogs have diagrams that are extrememly helpful.
It shouldn't be too hard to find seals, etc. You will have a hard time finding the rear doors though (or at least decent ones)
We have quite a few panel guys around here that are extremely knowledgable. they should be along shortly.

Welcome aboard Dave. Good to see another panel guy on board.
To answer your questions about parts availlability. The rear doors are the hardest parts to find, just behind stock front seats. There is a guy in Michigan who had a four rough doors on eBay a while back. I don't know if he sold them but a member of the board Irondragon has met the guy and can give you his contact information. If he still has them you might be able to make a deal.
The other parts you're looking for are the same as the pickups except for the parts for the back doors but you will be able to find most of these parts from various vendors. The panel trucks are the same as the convensional cabbed trucks from the back of the front doors to the front bumpers. Dennis Carpenter makes most of the reproduction parts most of the vendor sell. There should be a vendor in you state, there's two in Wisconsin that I use. There are other places like Job Lot for mechanical parts and Northern Classic Trucks and EMS for sheetmetal panels. Currently no one is making steel fenders or doors for these trucks.
Glass is easy, it's flat so find a place that cuts flat glass, just make sure they use DOT approved glass. A lot of auto glass companies don't cut glass any more, I had mine made at a shower glass store.
One more thing, make a gallery. We all like looking at pictures!

If you take a look on the firewall, there should be some other numbers/letters stamped into it. If you can read them adn post them here, we can probably tell you when the truck was built (actual day) and what the original color was if you don't know already.
Welcome to FTE and good luck with the project.
