68 4x4 high range and low range
I HAVE A 68 F 100 4X4 THAT I BOUGHT TO FIX UP
IT SEEMS LIKE THIS TRUCK ONLY GOES FROM 2 HIGH
STRAIGHT INTO 4X4 WITH ONLY ONE SPOT I GUESS
4X4 HIGH. DID THIS TRUCK COME WITH 4 HIGH AND
4 LOW?

Nope, you've got a 1 speed transfer case. It's either in 2WD or 4WD, all high range. OK if you don't put big tires on it, or you'll kill it if you do. Fortunately it's pretty easy to swap in a 2 speed case & trans from a later truck.

77 to 79. Get the crossmembers too. Also, you've got a drum brake front end, it would be a good score for you to get the disc front end while you're doing all of this, it's a relative bolt in. Maybe look for a good parts truck with all this stuff on it.
