cannon question

I was looking at joining the cannon club and was wondering how much different a straight-pipe 5" is over a stock s-p exhaust? I know I'll love it ,but I would like to know. thanks

yea I have looked at that before, but it doesn't help me that much. I would need a real life test to tell. I was just wanting personal opinions

it works great, the turbo spools up much faster, I just posted the results of putting gauges in, one of the major reason for the gauges was I noticed that it became much, much easier to set the SES light after installing the 5" system on my truck. it sounds great too personally although I have to find someone else to drive it sometime so I can hear what it sounds like from outside the truck.

oh sorry....thought you wanted to hear one..i got lower EGT's ..better proformance ...i got the 4" down pipe so i lost very little low end toruqe..but the dp tuner more then made up for that..lot better sound and a grin that comes on my face every time a start it..i lve in nh and they love to use salt up here.so i painted my pipes with black stove paint...was just under there yesterday and no rust showing yet..it still looks new..have you seen MKO e-bey for a good price?? just in case http://stores.ebay.com/MKO-DIESEL-PERFORMANCE

A buddy described me taking off from a red light as sounding like a Blackhawk at dustoff. A few mechanics I know say it sounds like a real truck now.

Yes i painted my system as well, and it's not rusting. However i heatwrapped the downpipe to the end of the downpipe and then painted there to the stacks. I herculiuned my bed, and the stack piping fit in with the black in the bed. Prevents rust too.

I just installed the 5" system from MKO tonight. I don't think the smile is gonna leave my face anytime soon.

I tell ya, the EBPV closed and it went to high idle, my eyes just about popped out and my side was hurting from laughing so hard. It sounded like a jet at take off.

This is my personal favorite.
There is no replacement for displacement (pipe diameter in this case).
