I have been looking for a set of headers that will fit on a 460 in an 82 Bronco, and cannot find a set that is priced reasonable (at least to a poor college student). I have heard a lot of people talking about using headers from Hooker, and only paying around $200 for them. My problem is that I cannot find any headers from Hooker that are supposed to fit, only ones for the 78-79 Broncos. I also found one set that is supposed to work with the 2WD and 4WD F250s and F350s (PN 6911HKR). I am wondering if anyone has the part number for these headers. I really don't want to have to fork out $400 for a set of L&L's.
HOK-6911 is a part number for 80-87 f100-350 with 460 engine. that should fit the bill, although you may have to squeeze or improvise a bit because it says it only fits 4wd after 1983. thats a summit part, btw. heres the link:

just call the guys at summit and im sure they'll "hook" you up. pun intended.
i know that the L&L's are expensive, but they are amazing. i have them on my 88. when i put in the 460 i used the l&l motor mounts, headers, v-pulleys and all the brackets. i run single exhaust and will set off car alarms in parking lots.
good luck

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-16-03 AT 07:23 PM (EST)]L&L are worth the Cash! they fit perfectly and you can REMOVE the starter WITHOUT loosening or removing the headers.. I can almost bet you would have to remove or loosen the hooker headers.
